1- i am Ahmed Mohammed Nasser Bin Attash. i hail from Yemen but i was born and raised in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jeddah. i recently engaged with an angel in human form.
2- regarding my competency and proficiency in computer skills, i am proud to consider myself a novice in computer skills. i do not really have solid profession in computer as a whole. i know only basic things like surfing internet,formatting my laptop,etc....
3- well, the software that i know is Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel,Access,Out Look) as well as explorer (internet). i took a 1 month course in Microsoft Office in 2005.
4- not really, but i did few times discussion with my friends via YM messenger in regards with assignments.other than that is a big NEVER.
5- well, yes i did incorporate technology during my practicum but not that much. i used to show my students some videos from You Tube. i was able to do that because the classroom was equipped with internet.
6- i personally believe that using computer/technology in language teaching especially from where i come from, will almost certainly make a very profound change in the mentally of the students. technology develops students' thinking skills. computer/technology has been introduced in a couple of schools in Saudi Arabia and it was very successful.
7- i am expecting and hoping to obtain golden knowledge in computer skills and how to teaching by using technology.
